Cauvery Waterfalls
This majestic waterfall is at a distance of 44 km from the city of Mandya. This waterfall is located at the Shivasamudra where the Cauvery separates it into two streams after which it thunders down from the 160.68 meter of the rocky hill side. The Gaganachukki on the Western Branch of the river and the Barachukki Falls on the eastern side are a vision to behold during the monsoon months July till November. The Gaganachukki falls are also believed to be the spot of suicide of King Nandiraj in 16th century.
Bhimeshwari
